How to organize your data for each chart type
You can import XLS, XLSX or CSV (comma delimited) type spreadsheets containing numerical data organized in a table. Your data will convert correctly if it is structured like the examples shown below.
If you don’t have the possibility to create an XLS, XLSX or CSV file, use the ‘New’ button to create your data sheet inside MyChartlr.
Download and import sample data
To make life easier for you, we put all the above data examples into an Excel file which you can download here.
After importing this file into Chartlr, the various data sheets are accessible via the dropdown in the Data sheet tab.

I want to add a trend line to my column chart. How do I do this?
Currently, this is not supported by Chartlr. But there is a work-around. Use the 2-axis chart type to add a trend line to your column chart. You will have to do the math for the trend line yourself though...;)
I want to use two vertical axes with different values in my chart. How do I do this?
You can use the 2-axis chart type for this. Check the section at the top of this page to see how to structure your data for this chart type.
The labels of my x-axis overlap. How do I rotate them?
Currently, this is not supported by Chartlr, except in the Waterfall chart. We may add this functionality to other chart types soon, based on popular demand. What you can do in the meantime: select the bar chart from the chart type accordion. The long labels will now move to the y-axis where there is more room for them.
